Preparing the Home Environment

Imagine your young child bringing in the mail, serving a snack, loading the dishwasher, and mopping a spill.  It's all possible with your thoughtful introduction to a prepared environment.  I will show how small tweaks can make your home more accessible and develop your child's independence, confidence, and sense of responsibility.  We will work together to choose and set up a few areas for your child.  Upon request, I also offer guidance on paring down toy collections and cycling toys and books.  Recommended ages: birth to age 4.

In-Home Observation

Struggling with mornings, meal times, sibling rivalry, or maybe a bed time routine?  A set of fresh and trained eyes can really help.  I observe your family at a time of your choosing, and then we work together to problem solve and bring your family greater peace.  Recommended ages: 2 to 6.

$275 package: includes a 30 minute initial phone conversation, a 60 minute home visit, a robust action plan of recommendations, and two 15 minute follow-up phone calls

Caregiver Training

Fostering a child's development works best when all caregivers are on the same page.  I observe your child's caregiver at a time of your choosing, and then offer neutral third party training to help the caregiver align with best practices for early childhood.  Recommended ages: 2 to 6.

Phone Consultation

Interested in talking through your family's unique situation and receiving advice over the phone?  This is a great option for busy families and families living outside of the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.  Recommended ages: 2 to 6.

Follow-Up Coaching

You had your consultation and took action.  The challenge we discussed has improved, but something new came up.  Would you like to talk it through with someone who has insight into your child and family? Let's do follow-up coaching in person or over the phone.
